DMCA / Copyright Takedowns
Last updated: 9 May 2026
1. Our role
CineVoice hosts user-generated text scripts and AI-synthesized audio for registered users. We are not the producer of every underlying training dataset used by third-party models, but we respond expeditiously to valid notices of infringement concerning content stored on or transmitted through our infrastructure.
2. What we need in a notice
Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) (and analogous doctrines we honor voluntarily for international rightsholders), a notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed infringed, or a representative list if multiple works.
- Identification of the material claimed infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. user email, generation timestamp, share link, or file hash).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
- A physical or electronic signature.
3. Where to send
Email the DMCA inbox listed on our Contacts page with subject “DMCA Notice”. For large attachments, provide links to cloud storage. We may acknowledge receipt within a few business days.
4. Counter-notification
If you believe material was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice containing identification of removed material, consent to jurisdiction, and acceptance of service of process. We may restore material after 10–14 business days unless the complainant initiates a court action.
5. Repeat infringers
We maintain a policy to terminate accounts of repeat infringers when legally appropriate. Determinations consider notice validity, user responses, and pattern analysis.
6. EU copyright & press publishers
EU rightsholders may invoke national implementations of Article 17 DSM Directive where applicable. Provide machine-readable URLs and legal basis under local law; we will assess under both U.S. and EU frameworks.
