Automated audio retention & deletion

Operational retention is enforced by automated cleanup jobs. By default, completed free-tier and preview renders are typically deleted after approximately 24 hours from creation. Completed paid-tier renders are typically deleted after approximately 72 hours, unless a different period is configured in administration or a legal hold applies. These values are also stored as `audio_cleanup_free_hours` and `audio_cleanup_paid_hours` in platform settings.

Deletion removes files from our primary storage when paths are under controlled roots; external URLs or CDN copies may persist until purged by third parties. If you need earlier deletion, contact privacy support with generation references.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing CineVoice.cloud (“Platform”) you enter a legally binding agreement with the operating entity identified on our Contacts page. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and not barred from receiving services under applicable sanctions, export-control, or anti-fraud laws.

We may refuse service, close accounts, or withhold generations where we reasonably believe you pose legal, security, or reputational risk, including after automated screening that is later reviewed by a human.

2. Description of the service

CineVoice provides browser-based tools to synthesize cinematic voice audio from text scripts using third-party AI models. Features may include preview (watermarked) renders, full-quality renders, voice libraries, presets, and wallet-based metering. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, safety, or commercial reasons with reasonable notice when practicable.

The Platform is not a telecommunications service, broadcast playout system, or human casting agency. Outputs are synthetic and may contain artifacts, latency, or inaccuracies. You remain responsible for QC, compliance with third-party licenses, and suitability for your distribution channel.

3. Accounts, credentials, and security

You must provide accurate registration data and keep credentials confidential. Notify support immediately if you suspect compromise. We may enforce session limits, captchas, or device checks to mitigate credential stuffing. You are liable for activity under your account until you demonstrate reasonable cooperation in securing it.

4. Wallet credits, pricing, and Stripe

Certain features consume prepaid wallet credits purchased via Stripe Checkout. Prices, FX, and tax treatment are displayed before payment. Credits are intangible digital rights to use metered generation capacity — they are not stored-value instruments, banking products, or redeemable for cash except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.

Chargebacks, payment disputes, or Stripe Radar blocks may lead to suspension until resolved. We may offset fraudulent chargebacks against outstanding credits or pursue recovery. You agree to comply with Stripe’s documentation and prohibited-business lists; we may terminate accounts that attempt to launder funds or obscure beneficial ownership.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You may use CineVoice only for lawful, ethical, and non-deceptive purposes. The following non-exhaustive list is prohibited and may trigger immediate suspension, preservation of evidence, and referral to authorities:

  • Impersonation & deepfakes: cloning, mimicking, or implying the voice of a real individual (celebrity, politician, executive, private citizen) without provable written consent, or creating content reasonably likely to deceive listeners about the speaker’s identity or endorsement.
  • Fraud & scams: phishing, social engineering, fake customer support, investment pitches, romance scams, or any audio intended to obtain money, credentials, or personal data through misrepresentation.
  • Political manipulation: synthetic speech designed to mislead electorates, simulate endorsements, or spread disinformation about candidates, ballot measures, or public health emergencies.
  • Harassment & hate: content targeting individuals or groups with threats, slurs, or incitement to violence, even if “satirical”.
  • Sexual exploitation: sexualizing minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other illegal adult content.
  • IP theft: generating narration intended to circumvent licensing for third-party literary, musical, or audiovisual works where you lack rights.
  • Security abuse: probing, fuzzing, or reverse engineering the Platform except as expressly permitted by law; scraping at scale; attempting to extract model weights or training data.

6. Content responsibility and licensing

You retain ownership of scripts you author, subject to licenses you grant us below. You represent that your inputs do not infringe third-party rights and that you have authority to synthesize and distribute outputs. To operate the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Platform.

Subject to your compliance, we grant you a limited license to use generated audio in your projects, but synthetic voices may still be subject to publicity, personality, or trademark rights of real people if you misuse them — legal exposure remains yours.

7. Moderation, suspension, and termination

We may monitor metadata, hash prompts against known abuse corpora, and review flagged outputs. We may throttle, queue, or block generations that trip policy rules. We may suspend or terminate accounts with or without notice where necessary to mitigate harm, comply with law, or protect users. Upon termination, unused wallet credits may be forfeited except where consumer law mandates refund (see Refund Policy).

8. Technical logs and anti-abuse signals

To detect fraud, we retain IP addresses, user agents, payment correlation IDs, API latency fingerprints, and rule-engine decisions. These logs may be shared with payment processors, hosting providers, or law enforcement under lawful process. We do not sell personal data to data brokers.

9. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, ERROR-FREE OUTPUTS, OR THAT MODELS WILL MEET REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR USE CASE (E.G. ACCESSIBILITY, BROADCAST STANDARDS, OR FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE).

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent still enforceable.

11. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CineVoice and its directors, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, misuse of synthetic voices, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.

12. Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated on the Contacts page, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that venue have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their home courts where EU/UK law grants non-waivable rights.

13. Export and sanctions

You may not use or export the Platform in violation of EU, UK, UN, or US sanctions. We block transactions involving comprehensively sanctioned regions or SDN-listed parties when detected.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version and, where changes are material, notifying you by email or banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the Platform and request account closure.

15. Removal of content and account closure

You may request closure of your account and erasure of personal data associated with it by contacting privacy support, subject to retention we must maintain for law, tax, or contested claims. Completed generations may be deleted earlier if you supply sufficient identifiers and no legal hold applies.

We may remove or restrict access to specific outputs, scripts, or accounts when required by court order, valid DMCA notices, credible abuse reports, or policy violations, even if you disagree with the finding. Reinstatement occurs only where we determine the action was erroneous or the risk has been mitigated.

This information is provided for transparency and operational clarity only. It does not constitute legal, tax, or regulatory advice. Laws differ by jurisdiction and change over time. Before launching paid services, advertising, or processing special categories of data, obtain advice from qualified counsel and, where applicable, your data protection authority.
